Empathy Education

Empathy is a powerful tool for us to understand and connect with the people around us. It forms the basis of human relationships and gives us the opportunity to invite new and diverse people, opinions and ideas into our lives, paving a pathway for stronger communities, workplaces, systems and collaboration.

We facilitate live storytelling events for communities and provide empathy training programmes for organisations that use real stories and lived experiences from diverse speakers to drive empathy and human connection.

Our empathy training programme aims to align real stories with practical learning outcomes in self-awareness, self-growth and real-world application by weaving lived experience through in-person workshops and online modules.

Get in touch if there is a particular idea or issue that you think we can help your community, business or organisation with.

DIGNITY AND WORTH W/ GUESTS ASHA A. AND EMILIE QUINN

For Anti-Poverty Week in Australia, our team in partnership with TCK Town took the opportunity to reframe the narrative of poverty through the lens of dignity and worth.

The event featured Asha, a black feminist and afro vegan, who came to Australia as a refugee from Sudan and Emilie, a young cyber security major who lived homeless during her teen years.

THE MAKING OF MOTHERHOOD W/ GUESTS KAYLEEN SCUDERI, WAFAA BEAINI AND FARAH BEAINI OF TCK TOWN

At this incredible event celebrating mothers, we invited midwife Kayleen Scuderi to explore the first moments of motherhood in the birthing room and the cross-cultural experiences she has encountered over her 30 years of midwifery. We were also joined by Lebanese daughter and mother, Farah and Wafaa Beaini, who explored questions with one another that they had never asked before in a very personal conversation on the family’s move to Australia from war-torn Lebanon.
