Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

BTLabel is designed to respect your privacy. BTLabel does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party. There are no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs in the app.

What you create stays yours

The content you create and enter in BTLabel — labels, favorites, folders, print history, and the contact fields (name, phone, street, email) used by the label tokens — is stored locally on your Mac. If you are signed in to iCloud, this content is also synced through your own private iCloud account (Apple CloudKit) so it is available on your other Macs. This data resides in your iCloud account; the developer cannot access it.

Bluetooth

BTLabel uses Bluetooth only to communicate with your label printer. Label data is sent directly from your Mac to the printer. Nothing is sent anywhere else as a result of printing.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. BTLabel does not see or store your payment information. The developer receives only Apple's standard, aggregated sales reports, which do not identify individual customers.

Data the developer receives

Because BTLabel has no servers and no analytics, the developer receives no personal information from your use of the app. If you choose to email us for support, we will see the information you include in your message, used only to respond to you.

Children

BTLabel does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Your control

You can delete labels, favorites, folders, and contact information within the app at any time; changes sync to your iCloud. You can also manage or disable iCloud syncing for BTLabel in macOS System Settings → your Apple ID → iCloud.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
